IVA answers could help restore much-needed financial control

Wednesday 16th of June 2010

Individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) answers may offer the information needed to help you regain control of your money and feel better as a result.

Research from Aviva, in conjunction with City University in London, shows 68 per cent of people with high self esteem are good at planning their finances, while 62 per cent of confident Britons set themselves clear goals for their funds.

And according to the company, this proves confidence can be boosted by good money management.

An IVA could offer you the chance to get your bank balance in order if you’re currently struggling with income-sapping debts.

The measure may have you debt-free after around five years and kick-start a period of financial responsibility that will have you feeling more at ease and wary of straying into the red.

It might, therefore, be the perfect time to find answers on IVAs.

"The study shows a strong link between financial behaviour, self esteem and happiness and proves that those with sensible financial plans in place are happier overall," Gary Price, marketing director for Aviva, says.
