Almost two-thirds (61 per cent) of Britons in serious debt cannot sleep - so may wish to employ an IVA in a bid to get themselves out of debt and back into a stress-free lifestyle.
Worries about debt are common and can lead to worsened performance at work and strained relations at home, research by Talkaboutdebt.co.uk shows.
More than half of people (55 per cent) struggle to concentrate during the working day - which could be a result of both a lack of sleep and debt concerns plaguing the mind.
Jessica Brown, an independent financial journalist working for Talkaboutdebt.co.uk, said: "It is clear that debt stress can have terrible consequences and we want to make sure that people get the right kind of help and don’t have to suffer alone."
One way of solving a debt crisis could be to take IVA advice.
By allowing an expert to assess your debt and restructure its repayment, you could make managing debt that bit easier.
This may allow debt-concerned Britons to relax more and get valuable sleep.
