People in the UK who are struggling with their debts may find they need to seek individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) answers to prevent them suffering financial anxiety on a daily basis.

New research carried out by moneysupermarket.com has found more than 17 million individuals in Britain worry about their monetary situation every day.

The study showed 18 per cent of adults in the UK find their financial future the most stressful aspect of their lives - such as not being able to afford a house.

This is compared to 17 per cent who fret most over their current cash flow, 14 per cent who are most concerned about their job and 12 per cent who worry about their health.

Kevin Mountford, head of banking at moneysupermarket.com, said: "It is worrying so many people feel their finances are out of control and don't want to take a little time to put it right."

Alliance Trust Savings recently found many people in Britain have identified that they need to try and combat their debts before they get out of hand - which could lead them to ask IVA questions.
