You should also be aware that all new IVA’s are registered on the Individual Insolvency Register.

The Insolvency Service, which is the Government department that oversees all bankruptcies and individual voluntary arrangements, host the Individual Insolvency Register on their website.

All insolvencies are required to be listed as part of the public record, and to facilitate this The Insolvency Service have taken the responsibility of hosting the Register.

New IVAs will be recorded, along with some of the key facts surrounding the IVA such as the full name of the individual that has entered into the arrangement, along with their date of birth.

It will also provide the debtor’s last known address, with some details of the IVA arrangement that has been agreed, including details of the Insolvency Practitioner who acted as the IVA’s Nominee and the IVA’s Supervisor.
