IVA. What Is It?

IVA. What Is It?

IVA is short for Individual Voluntary Arrangement.

So, what is it? Well an Individual Voluntary Arrangement is a special debt repayment arrangement that helps people who have serious debt problems repay their creditors at an affordable rate, whilst avoiding bankruptcy.

An Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) is a legally binding financial arrangement, specially tailored to meet the financial circumstances of someone who has serious debt problems.

My IVA Adviser are IVA specialists.

We help people with debt problems come to an agreement with their creditors, by using an IVA.

The main benefit of an IVA is that an IVA has a fixed repayment term, which is usually 5 years, after which all the debts in the arrangement are considered repaid or ’satisfied’.

Which, quite simply, means that the applicant is debt free at the end of the IVA even if they haven’t repaid all of their original debt.

Any outstanding debts are ‘written off’ as part and parcel of the IVA’s legally binding terms and conditions.

To set up an IVA you need the services of an Insolvency Practitioner.

MY IVA Adviser have several Insolvency Practitioners on our panel of experts.

We offer ‘no obligation’ IVA consultations, to anyone who is considering entering into an IVA.

If you would like to discuss your financial circumstances with one of our specialist IVA advisers then call 0800 088 7503 now and ask for a no obligation IVA consultation.
